Jagadhatri Ghot Puja under COVID-19 situation

COVID-19, must have been written in the history of human civilisation. Jagadhatri Puja, the Goddess of the Year 2020, will definitely be written in the history page of Chandannagar. There will be written about the baroari who taught us how to give a different kind of puja gift with restraint and steadfastness in this extreme situation. The organisers of these puja committee pointed out that unpretentious, tasteful, scriptural worship can be done keeping in mind the health and safety of the locals. Yes, he showed it to the world. Showing that festival to crazy people. The festival falls before the soul. Worship of life. No riotous, no stylish.

The picture below is of Chandannagar Fatakgora Baroari. A notable puja of Chandannagar on Station Road. They have one of the few titles of high idols. They became the best in the procession. I was listening to their worship plan this year. New normal puja method.

1. In every alley of the neighbourhood, especially in the houses where there are elders, they can pay their respects so that they do not come to pay their respects, they can pay their respects at home by chanting mantras.

2. Created a link so that everyone can watch and pay homage to all the puja life in a virtual home.

3. Not a single penny will be taken from the people sitting in any stall or fair sitting on the street.

4. Financial assistance will be provided to 45 workers associated with puja, such as Pandal, lighting, idol artists etc. This time they are the ones who helped Mike with a blind singer and a flute player on the train. Of course, the entrepreneurs are by their side in this situation.

Not only Fatakgora puja committee, but also the centuries-old traditional Bagbazar Baroari is doing such Ghot puja, the birthplace of lighting Vidyalanka Baroari is being done, the entrepreneurs of Talpukurdhara Baroari are doing the same puja. Doing several more baroari. They created a new history. In the history of the independence movement, for example, Chandannagar once became a visionary. These puja committee retained the tradition of that path and remained guided by this new form of worship in the face of difficult COVID situations.

It will also be written in history - the festival is not outside but inside.

Narua Jagadhatri Puja 2020

Under the challenging situation some Puja committee has decided to make idol with other government rules for covid-19. Narua Chandannagar one of them.

As per the court order all Puja committee avoid decorative pandal. So this year you can get only Jagadhatri idol, there is beautiful pandal in each Puja, mostly people go with open pandal mode.
